One of the simplest ways to get your mind right and into a place of expectation of a workout is to get dressed in your gym clothes which can be especially helpful on days you just aren't feeling motivated to workout. . How in the world could something so simple and silly actually help get you moving? Sometimes just going through the motions can give you just enough motivation to get you started. Sometimes just the thought of the time it will take to get to and from the gym plus the sheer force, effort and sweat it will take to get through your 30-60 min. workout after an exhausting Monday can prove too much which then forces you into I'll do it tomorrow land. We suggest something far more simple. . Stop thinking about EVERYTHING that you have to do and instead think about the first thing you need to do and then the next and then the next and then before you know it you went from the thought of not feeling it to the thought of I'm already dressed so I might as well.
